The 2018 Expo first set Belt and Road Initiative Area and New Retail Area

To actively respond to the Nation Belt and Road Initiative -- China's proposal to build a Silk Road Economic Belt and a 21st Century Maritime Silk Road in cooperation with related countries, the 2018 China International Electronic Commerce Expo first set Belt and Road Initiative Area.

  As one of the greatest dark horses in the field of China e-commerce, China's cross-border e-commerce has maintained 20-30 percent average annual growth rate rapidly over the past years. The state council executive meeting made further plan on developing the China Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area, while the China Cross-border E-commerce retail import regulatory transition policy will be continuously extended to the end of 2018, so does dividend period.

 The Vice Secretary Lu Jiandong of China International Electronic Commerce Expo pointed out that the 2018 Expo will effectively guide cross-border e-commerce to better take advantage of the Initiative and thus improve the full e-commerce industrial chain of cross-border e-commerce.

 In addition, “New Retail” has attracted attention of the retail industry in 2017; It’s the entire chain that is digitized both physical and online. And every small store can become the go-to store for fulfillment, and hence to integrate with their online infrastructure and cloud computing data to provide a seamless integrated service, creating a seamless and consistent consumer-centric experience. Therefore, the Expo follows the new trend of e-commerce to add the new retail exhibition area in order to stimulate traditional retailers to upgrade and transform.
